Ayurveda has given lot of emphasis on Immunity for healthy living

The Sanskrit word Balam means strength in terms of health. It denotes the strength of mind, body and its components. In Ayurveda, the term Balam invariably means immunity and the immune system in a normal state.

  • Nourishment of Mamsa dhatu (muscle tissue)
  • Ability to carry out different tasks efficiently

Here are few herbs and food which enhance your balam (inner strength or immunity)

 

Herbs: Ashwangandha, Mulethi, Gooseberry, Holy basils leaves, Black cumin, Moringa, Turmeric, Ginger, Marva leaves, Star anise, Giloy

Food: (Vegetables): Broccoli, Carrot, Beetroot, Sweet potatoes.

Food: (Fruits) - Citrus fruits like pineapple, kiwi, oranges, and Indian gooseberry, pomegranate, papaya, Avocado.
