Now the question is how do we try to keep our Gut healthy during this eventful time. We are talking about three important ways to deal with your Gut during New Year parties.
1- First, Post- wake up drink warm water with lemon to flush away Ama (toxins). Also, if you have had alcohol previous night and feel hung over. Soak 7-8 raisins overnight and drink the water. Also chew and eat the raisins. As it will help in reducing fatigue.
2- Second thing to do, Avoid heavy breakfast. As you have had food late at night, digestion becomes super slow. Therefore, give your digestion system time and relaxation to first clear the leftovers inside, don’t overload your Gut system. Take just coconut water or fruit like papaya, which helps gut.
3- Last but not the least, Eat Light dinner around 7-7:30 pm before you go for parties. Have light meals like khichdi, millets or Dalia with ghee. This way you will not be famished and will avoid overeating. Drink a cup of warm Ajwain and Fennel tea at night or early morning before going to bed.
